To those of you who’ve shown support for this independent documentary, here is an update on the film and a few words to express our gratitude:

 

We are just a few months away from completion and have now released the official documentary trailer. If you are someone who’s shown support for this documentary, it would me so much if you would continue to do so and share this trailer and GoFund Me link, so that it may reach anyone else who'd like to contribute.

 

This is an independent project and you sharing this trailer would help us gain more exposure and get it out in front of those who’ve been anxiously waiting to see the film and want an update on it's progress. 

 

We are also looking to raise more capital for travel expenses to complete filming, pay for legal expenses and fund our distribution plan. We currently do not have a distribution deal, so as of now, there is no official release date. However, the film will be complete in the Fall, heading to a few small screenings and a budget for distribution would allow us to host bigger screenings and submit this project to documentary film festivals.

We greatly appreciate those of you who've contributed to this project in any way. My grandmother, Linda Martell, is so grateful for your support, your letters and your overall interests in her story. We are working to ensure that we deliver a quality film but most importantly, her truth.
